Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India. The Mission of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is to enable higher educational institutions to work with the people of rural India in identifying development challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth. It also aims to create a virtuous cycle between society and an inclusive academic system by providing knowledge and practices for emerging professions and to upgrade the capabilities of both the public and the private sectors in responding to the development needs of rural India.

UBA Flex Fixing At Karichipalayam And Kolaram Community Area by Vivekanandha College Of Nursing.

EYE Camp

Vivekanandha College of Nursing adjoined with Vivekanandha Medical care hospital and organized an eye camp at Kolaram panchayat office on 13.09.2025 .The camp was organized by Dr. M. Sumathi,M.Sc(N), Ph.D(N),Principal, Vivekanandha college of Nursing along with Mrs.A.Lalitha HOD (Community Health Nursing Department) and Faculties of Community Health Nursing Department [Mrs.M.Sindhumathi M.Sc.(N), Ms.A.Nivetha.B.Sc.(N), Mrs.V.Sukitha B.Sc(N), Ms.B.Abarna B.Sc(N)] and III year B.Sc Nursing VI-Sem students were participated in the camp. The camp aimed to provide free eye care services to the community, promote eye health awareness, detect vision problems.
