- Our B.Sc Nursing students have secured 100% result for the academic year 2014 – 2015.
- II Year B.Sc Nursing students secured 100% results in sociology.
- Our IV yearB.Sc Nursing student got University rank in Midwifery.
- Our IV year B.Sc Nursing & III year B.Sc Nursing students have participated and won the prizes in Mega Science Expo 2015 conducted by Vivekanandha Educational Institutions, Elayampalayam.
- Our students have actively participated in various inter and intra collegeate cultural and sports events with enthusiasm. They have exhibited their talents and won the prizes.
- A NSS activities programme was conducted by Vivekanandha College of Arts and Science in the month of January. Our nursing students were participated in that courageous programme and have been assited the public for doing physical check up and creating awareness regarding health issues.
- Our VMCH at elayampalayam providing judicious health care services to the people by conducting routine general & special camps in villages of Namakkal, Karur, Salem, Erode and Dharmapuri District. Our students are regularly participating in all the camps, which is organized by our Vivekanandha medical care hospital.
- Our honorable chairman & secretary expanded the services of our prestigious Vivekanandha hospital at CHB colony, Tiruchengode in the month of October 2013.
- The Vivekananda hospital at CHB colony includes variour department like general medicine, diabeteology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, causality, physiotherapy, gynecology, urology orthopedics, x-ray, pharmacy, laboratory etc.
- Inorder to create awareness, our staff and students have been conducting various health awareness programme like breast feeding week celebration, Aids awareness day, Tuberculosis day, Immunization day at Government Hospital Tiruchengode and primary health centre at chinnagoundanur.
- To resite the events, a hospital was celebrated on march 7th at Government Hospital, to mark the day, our college students has participated in rally in the title of creating awareness regarding disease.
- All the important celebrity days like Nurses day, world health day, Teacher day, Christmas, pongal, women’s day ware gracefully celebrated in the college premises.
- As per the requirement of youth red cross society, to assess the school students health condition, our IV Year B.Sc(Nursing) students & staffs conducted school Health Programme in the month of November. During the programme they conducted health assessment, creates awareness programme in the title anemia, dental caries & warm infestation.
- World mental health day was organized by Institute of Mental Health, Chennai. Our students were participated, very actively.
- In terms of Eradicating polio, a pulse polio programme has been conducted in Primary health centre, Chinnagoundanur. Our students were participated and rendering their services to the rural areas.
- Our faculty members were participated global fund Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria, which was organized by Christian Medical College, Vellore.
- Our faculty were acted as observer for the state level conference which was conducted by various nursing college at Salem & Namakkal.
- Our faculty members were acted as a resource person of state level conference in Vinayaka Mission College of Nursing Salem District.
- B.Sc(N) – 90% 2015-2016 and Dip(N) – 98% 2015-2016.
- Our students secured distinction in three subjects of the university examination.
- We have obtained appreciation award from Indian Red Cross society Tamilnadu Branch 2013-2014.
