About Vivekanandha Nursing College for Women

Vivekanandha Nursing College for Women is situated at Veerachipalayam, Sankari west post, Sankari Taluk, Salem District, Tamilnadu. Adjoining Coimbatore – Salem National Highway. The campus is 8kms away from Sankari, 25 kms from Erode, 50 km from Salem and 110 kms from Coimbatore. On entering the campus, one would be gripped by the gorgeousness and the natural atmosphere maintained in the campus which is pleasant, healthy and stimulating every sense. Vivekanandha Nursing College for Women is known for its academic and clinical excellence. Vivekanandha Nursing College for Women was established by Rabindharanath Tagoore Charitable Trust in the year 2007-2008. The institution is imparting the nursing education of high quality to the young women and preparing them for a growing professional carrier.

We have well equipped class rooms, Laboratories and library in our campus as per Indian Nursing Council Norms. For acquiring excellent skill in clinical practice our students undergo clinical training in our Vivekanandha Medical Care Hospital and affiliated hospitals such as Government Head Quarters Hospital, Erode Government Hospital, Tiruchengode Primary Health Centre, Chinnagoundanur Institute of Mental Health, Chennai and field visits in Chinnagoundanur. A modernized hostel, where hygienic food, mineral water with varieties of south Indian dishes, is an added feature of the hostel in providing a congenial and home atmosphere to carry out their academics with ease.
