Student Grievance Redressal Committee

Introduction

The Student Grievance Redressal Committee is established to address individual and collective grievances of students. A grievance refers to any dissatisfaction or sense of injustice experienced by a student regarding institutional matters.

Students may submit grievances in writing through the grievance/suggestion box or via email to the concerned authority.

• Ensure timely and fair grievance resolution
• Encourage students to express concerns without fear
• Promote mutual respect and dignity

Procedure for Lodging a Complaint

• Submit grievance to Mentor
• Escalate to Class Coordinator if unresolved within 3 days
• Submit written complaint to Principal if still unresolved
• Principal may refer to higher authorities if required
• Use grievance box or official format
• Email complaints for urgent cases
• Use online grievance portal if available
• Submit supporting documents
• Resolution within 14 days
• Maintain confidentiality

Powers of the Committee

• Handle academic, administrative, and welfare grievances
• Resolve grievances within a reasonable time frame (approx. 10 days)
