About the Seminar
The Magnificence of Language and Literature today is radiant and it should be acknowledged. Language is for expression and Literature is the reflection of that expression. Language plays a significant role in social development. Literature reflects the social life and acts as a tool for further awareness and growth. The status of English language and the luring position of English literature in the present era is a well-known fact. The inimitable quality of Language and Literature in socialising and educating is well appreciated and acknowledged across the globe. When language empowers one to express oneself, Literature opens a broad arena where one can look for larger domains for refinement. The status of English Language and Literature in this global era is a highly relevant topic of discussion among academicians, linguists and literary people. The potential of language and literature are extremely innovative areas for anthropologists as well as academicians to look up. These days, value added courses and value educations are included in the curriculum in order to impart human values to the society. At this moment, it is exciting to deliberate upon the enlightening quality of language and literature.
The two day national seminar aims to explore English language & literature as a tool to examine the challenges in enlightening English Language teaching & learning in current contexts. This seminar aspires to bring anthropologists, linguists, academicians and literary people to a common platform to evaluate the global perspectives on English Language & Literature.

Tri-Fest 2016
Our college has celebrated Tri-Fest, 2016 festival in the presence of Our Honorable Chairman & Secretary Vidhya Rathna Prof. Dr. M. Karunanithi, B.Pharm., M.S, Ph.D., D.Litt., who Presided over the functions from 22-02-2016 to 26-02-2016. From 22-02-2016 to 24-02-2016 the college has celebrated “CULTURAL DAY”. The College has celebrated the “SPORTS DAY MEET” On 25.02.2016. Mr. K.Muralidharan, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tiruchengode & Our Honorable Madam Chairman inaugurated the Sports Day Meet & Mrs Kavitha Jawahar, Motivational Speaker, Rajapalayam inaugurated afternoon session. The College has celebrated the “ANNUAL DAY” on 26.02.2016 Mr. K.Bhagyaraj, (Director & Actor) & Mrs. Poornima Bhagyaraj (Actress) were the chief guest of the Annual Day function.
Workshop on Non-Woven & Technical Textile
The Department of Textile and Fashion Designing & Costume Design and Fashion has conducted a Workshop On “Non-Woven & Technical Textile” on 20-02-2016 by inviting Mrs. D.Manimekala, Sardhar Vallabai Patel School Of Textile & Management, Coimbatore.
Lecture on Probability & Distribution
A Guest Lecture on “Probability & Distribution” was conducted for II year UG & PG Mathematics Students on 19th February 2016 by inviting the chief guest, Dr.Sasikumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.

A Guest Lecture on “Area & Volume” for I year Mathematics Students on 08th Feb 2016 was delivered by inviting the chief guest, Dr.T.Asir, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Madurai Kamaraj University,Madurai.

On 08.02.2016 & 10.02.2016 The Department of Computer Science conducted association activities for our students. The students are very much interested in participating Poster Creation, Debugging, Marketing, Logo Creation, Rangoli, Vegetable Carving & Fireless Cooking.

On 05.02.2016 The Department of Commerce has conducted SEBI sponsored Workshop on the topic of “Financial Education Workshop for Young Investors” and guest of the event was Prof. ShanmugaRajan, SEBI Trainer, Chennai.
