Chemistry - About the Department
The Department of Chemistry offers UG & PG courses and it is adequately equipped with the latest instruments known and required to carry out modern day chemistry. Besides, the department enriches the knowledge on essential science for modern life to the students as away to make them to comprehend the modifying chemical aspects in various practical exposures. It comprises a broad range of study on diverse areas like pharmaceuticals, food, energy, consumer’s goods, environment, agriculture, research, etc. Society has come to rely upon chemists in many different ways and many of the foundation of our economy and standard of living can be traced back to chemical advances.
Well equipped laboratories have been established students. Periodically, various seminars, workshops and guest lecture are arranged by the department. A separate club, Lavoisier, is providing path to enhance students’ skills in various activities.
