About the Department

The Department of Textile and Fashion Designing & Costume Design and Fashion was established in the year 2006. The scope of our department is to make our students to face the challenges in Global Apparel Industry. Every year we produce centum result and University Gold Medalists and also we often conduct workshops and industrial visits to encourage the students’ skill which helps them to start the small scale industry.

B.Sc. (Textile and Fashion Designing)

Duration of the course

3 years with 6 semesters.

Eligibility

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu, or an examination accepted as equivalent by the syndicate of the Periyar University.

A pass in any Textile Fashion, Costume, Apparel related 3 years Diploma Course in any Board University eligible to appear for direct second year.

B.Sc. (Costume Design and Fashion)

Duration of the course

3 years with 6 semesters.

Eligibility
