Our college placement cell provide the best career opportunities to our nursing students. The final year students are recruited by various organizations both clinical and teaching all over Tamil Nadu and major cities of India. The placement cell plays a crucial role in locality job opportunities to our college students to keeping touch in with reputed hospitals. It also plays a vital role in guiding the students about foreign opportunities through various career guidance programs.

GOAL

To assist the nursing students to be successful in their career development and job placement activities.

Objectives

• Developing the students to meet the hospital recruitment process.
• Motivate to develop the students technical knowledge in terms of career planning and goal setting.
• Guiding the students on government competitive exams like RRB, MRB, MCH, AIIMS, JIPMER and ESI examinations.
• Counseling the students regarding the updated and newly launched opportunities available in the nursing field.
• Providing 100% placement in various multi-specialty hospitals in and around India and Abroad.
• Organizing pre-placement trainings.
• Guiding the students to face the foreign opportunity examinations such as IELTS/OET, NCLEX, DOH/DAH, CRNE.

About Placement Cell of Vivekanandha College of Nursing

The placement cell organizes campus interviews by inviting various hospitals for the placement of the student for jobs. It fulfils dual purposes, one for students securing their future career, another for the organization securing the best fresh talent available in the region to train and mould them for their long time need of the employees.

The cell undertakes various activities of training and grooming of students in terms of conducting mock interviewing, resume writing.

• Organize workshops/seminars/guest lecture for the students to improve the self-confidence.
• Training the students to know about the interview techniques.
• Arranging the special alas for personality and communication skills.
• Guiding the students to prepare the personal profile.
• Practice regarding group discussion.
• Special practices regarding placement in a reputed hospitals.
• Grooming and training of the candidates for the placements so that their chances of selection increases.
• General follow-up, joining formalities and another administrative activities.
