Our Vivekanandha College of Engineering for women (Autonomous) has been selected as the “Best women Engineering College” in India by ISTE among 10,350 Technical Institutions in India.
Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading national Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the Motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall Development of our Technical Education system.
The Major Objective of the ISTE is to provide quality Training Programmes to Teachers and Administrators of Technical Institutions to update their Knowledge and Skills in their Fields of activity and to assist and contribution in the production and Development of Top Quality Professional Engineers and Technicians needed by the industry and other Organizations.
In Addition to this, ISTE conducted a Nation - wide comprehensive analysis to ensure the quality of technical institutions in the academic year 2017-18 based on the Infrastructural facility of Educational Institutions, skills and efficiency of faculty members, employability and campus placement opportunities to the students.
As a result of the detailed study and the owing parameters, Vivekanandha College of Engineering for women (Autonomous) of Vivekanandha Educational institutions, Elayampalayam, Tiruchengode, is awarded as the best women Engineering college in India 2017 award.

Poonia, Vice Chairman, AICTE, Dr. Vijay P. Bhatkar, Vice Chancellor, Nalanda University, Dr. Navin Sheth, Vice Chancellor, Gujarat Technological University, Dr. K P Issac, founder Vice Chancellor, A P J Abdul Kalam University, Dr. Karisiddappa, Vice Chancellor, Visvesvaraya University, Dr. Abhay E. Wagh, Director, DTE, Maharastra. Dr.R.Murugesan, Former Vice Chancellor, Anna University of Technology, Madurai, Dr.K.Manivannan, Vice President, ISTE. Former Vice-Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai, Dr.D.Viswanathan, the Advisor for Vivekanandha Educational Institutions, the principal of Vivekanandha College of Engineering for women, Dr.S.Suresh Kumar, were also present among the delegates.
